General Dentistry

Adults and children have different needs when it comes to dental care. Adults want the best technology, the most informed doctors and the highest quality care; kids want to be comfortable, entertained and respected. Here, we understand these differences, and we address them all. That’s why our dentists have experience working with both adults and children—and we can make your dental experience more enjoyable for everyone.

Preventive Dentistry

This includes our regular dental hygiene visits, sealants, mouthguards, and patient/parent education. We place a high emphasis on gums, which is one of the most important factors for lifelong oral health. Our dentist and hygienist are very meticulous about monitoring the health of the gums and using the latest techniques in non-invasive gum treatment.

Safer And More Precise Imaging

Cone beam CT scans are now available at our Hanover office! No more travelling over two hours to Mississauga or London. This newer technology uses a cone-shaped beam to scan the patient with increased accuracy for dental implants while exposing the patient to less radiation than a typical scan.

Low-Radiation Digital X-Rays

We offer in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images. These images require up to 90% less radiation than conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film that must be developed and then fixed in caustic and environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor and instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the video monitor in the treatment room. Therefore, we can see your teeth and surrounding structures immediately. Feel free to contact us for more details or to make an appointment!

Endodontic Therapy Imaging

With advanced and surprisingly comfortable endodontic therapy, you have an alternative to tooth removal, which will allow you to retain full use of your natural teeth. Endodontic therapy involves the removal of tissue from inside the tooth that has been damaged by trauma or infected by decay. After the pulp is removed, the pulp chamber and root canal system is cleaned, disinfected and sealed. Once a root canal is completed, two other procedures are generally needed to complete the restoration of the tooth. These are done by the general dentist.

Intraoral Cameras

Ever been curious about what goes on during your dental care visits? Well now with our intraoral cameras, you don´t have to be curious anymore! An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny device is a video camera that moves around inside the mouth and generates a tooth-by-tooth video exam of the teeth. With the images produced by the intraoral camera, patients can see each of their teeth and dentists can indicate problems such as broken teeth, plaque, decay, gum disease, defective fillings, and so on. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Mercury-Free Dentistry

We understand your concerns regarding the use of mercury fillings. Accordingly, at our office, we offer our patients new advanced fillings made of tooth-coloured materials that contain no metals or mercury as an alternative to traditional silver fillings.

TMJ (Jaw Pain) Therapy

Commonly misdiagnosed or overlooked, a subtle misalignment in the temporomandibular joint can be a common, significant source of head and neck pain. If you have frequent and severe head or neck pain, you owe it to yourself to investigate our doctor’s life-changing approach to correcting these TMJ problems.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Are you experiencing pain or infection in the back of your mouth? Are your wisdom teeth impacted, decayed, or developing gum disease? Do your wisdom teeth require removal because of poor position or for orthodontic reasons? Our dentists have extensive experience working with both adults and children and we can make your wisdom teeth extraction more comfortable. We know that many people find this procedure daunting, so we offer various sedation options to help you relax while we work on your teeth. There’s no need to fear, we’ll make sure your experience is the easiest it can be.

DIAGNOdent® Cavity Detection

This computerized device can find problems sometimes years before any symptoms appear, possibly saving you the cost and inconvenience of a root canal.
